THERE IS A STORY BEHIND EACH ARIANOTTE JEWEL...

The underdog | Recycled Sterling Silver Ethical Ring

Arianotte's first pinkie ring. The first of the many because pinkie finger and chevalier rings are the synonym of power and the Arianotte woman is powerful. Know your power, wear your power and keep reminding yourself that it's no wrong to be considered the underdog. If someone underestimates you, it's his weakness, and not your problem.

The underdog is a ring that doesn't really stand out but adding it to your jewellery collection is a very smart choice. Just like the "Stronger than Before" ring from  "The Arena" ring set, "The Underdog" can be worn with or without other rings, from day to night, for every occasion and it can complete many different styles.

    Ethically Made

Our products are handcrafted by family businesses in Greece. We are a slow fashion brand and from the beginning of this journey, we chose to collaborate with local small businesses in order to make sure tht the jewellery manufacturing process is fair for all the parties.

    Our Suppliers

We only work with suppliers who have strict policies to important matters - like modern slavery– and they are members of the RJC, Responsible Jewellery Council.

    Sustainability

Our sterling silver is recycled, our semi-precious stones are ethically sourced and We avoid precious stones like diamonds and rubies because of the conflicts over them. As a fair trade brand, we try to be as transparent as possible and for that reason we mention the origin of most of our products.

Is recycled sterling silver as high quality as the typical sterling silver?

Yes! Even extracted from used sterling silver items, the silver doesn't lose its value and it maintains its durability. It's still a precious metal after all. But by using recycled sterling silver, we manage to reduce the CO2 emissions, a consequence of mining.

Can I engrave my Arianotte piece?

Yes, it is possible but the cost varies because it depends solemnly on what you want. It takes approximately 14 days to ship orders with engraved pieces.

How to care for my jewellery?

    • Always store your jewellery pieces individually in cool and dry place, ideally in your Arianotte packaging so that they don’t rub together, scratch or tangle. Special care should be taken with gemstones to ensure that they do not knock against one another when stored.
    • Do not store your jewellery in your bathroom!
    • With time and wear, sterling silver will naturally become oxidised and eventually tarnish but if you store your jewellery properly, the oxidation process will slow down.
    • The oxidation is also slowed down by wearing your jewellery often. But, If your jewellery is stored for long-periods of time, we recommend an occasional cleaning to maintain shine.
    • Sterling silver tarnishes, especially when exposed to salt air, products containing sulfur and other chemicals like soaps, creams or perfume. However, 925 silver jewelry is a great choice for daily wear. It's durable, versatile, with proper care and maintenance, your Arianotte silver jewelry can last for years to come.
    • The jewellery pieces with gemstones require special care. Take care to protect your jewelry from impact against hard surfaces and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces. Some stones are more delicate than others but all the gemstones can scratch or chip if hit with enough force or at just the right angle... Extreme temperatures, perfumes, cosmetics, ultrasonic cleaning and household chemicals can also damage jewelry.
    • Do not keep jewellery in direct sunlight as prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause many gemstones to fade and lose their colour.
    • Enamel can also chip or scratch when struck. Extreme temperatures, perfumes, cosmetics, ultrasonic cleaning and household chemicals can also damage jewelry.
